Threshold Moments Experience

$450.00

A compassionate documentary photography experience created to honor life’s most tender, transitional, and deeply human moments.

Threshold Moments is for experiences that exist between what was and what is becoming, vigils, living funerals, bedside gatherings, end-of-life rituals, ceremonies, remembrance gatherings, and other meaningful moments of transition.

Rather than directing or staging the experience, I work quietly and intuitively, documenting what is naturally unfolding: the touch of a hand, the gathering of loved ones, meaningful objects, ritual, tenderness, grief, laughter, silence, and the small details that may become profoundly important with time.

The intention is not simply to photograph an event. It is to create a thoughtful visual record of presence, relationship, and love during moments that can feel impossible to fully hold while they are happening.

What’s Included

Pre-Session Consultation

Before documenting your gathering or experience, we take time to discuss what is happening, who will be present, what feels important to you, and any personal, cultural, spiritual, or privacy considerations I should understand.

Together, we establish clear boundaries so that the photography feels supportive rather than intrusive.

Documentary Photography Coverage

Photography is approached quietly and unobtrusively, allowing events to unfold naturally without unnecessary interruption or direction.

Coverage may include vigils, living funerals, end-of-life gatherings, rituals, ceremonies, family gatherings, remembrance experiences, or other significant life transitions.

Story-Centered Documentation

Attention is given not only to people, but to the details that carry meaning, hands, letters, photographs, flowers, objects, spaces, rituals, expressions, relationships, and the atmosphere surrounding the experience.

These details often become an important part of remembering the fullness of what occurred.

Individual, Family & Generational Moments

When appropriate, photographs may include portraits or naturally occurring moments between individuals, partners, families, children, elders, and multiple generations.

These images are created with sensitivity to the emotional circumstances of the day and never require anyone to participate who does not wish to be photographed.

A Curated Collection of Professionally Edited Images

Following the experience, I carefully review and edit the photographs with sensitivity to both the emotional nature of the event and the integrity of the moments documented.

You receive a thoughtfully curated collection that tells the story of the experience without overwhelming you with every photograph taken.

Private Digital Delivery

Your finished photographs are delivered through a private online gallery, allowing you and your family to view, preserve, download, and share the images when you feel ready.

Privacy and discretion are treated as an essential part of the experience.

A Gentle Approach to Documentation

There is no expectation to perform, pose, or make a difficult moment appear differently than it is.

Some threshold experiences contain grief. Others contain laughter, tenderness, ritual, celebration, uncertainty, or profound stillness. Often, they contain all of these at once.

My role is to enter that space with care, observe without imposing, and preserve the moments that might otherwise disappear unnoticed.

Threshold Moments is an offering for people who want a meaningful record of what happened, who was there, how they loved one another, and what it felt like to stand together at the edge of change.
