Liliana Del Vedova

Liliana Del Vedova is an artist, writer, and mystic whose work is driven by intuition and spirituality. Through her varied artistic practices, she delves into the complexities of the human psyche, illuminating the hidden shadows and profound truths that dwell within us all. Having journeyed through many dark initiations, traumas, and transformative experiences, Liliana's belief in the infinite possibilities and pathways that arise from these trials infuses her work with a deep sense of resilience and hope.

With a deep quest for harmony, enlightenment, and meaning, Liliana’s work explores themes of grief, death, and transformation, offering a poignant reflection on the core questions that shape human existence. Certified as a grief coach in 2025, she brings an embodied wisdom to her creative and spiritual offerings, holding compassionate space for the cycles of loss and renewal.

Unafraid to challenge artistic boundaries, she blends historical large-format cameras with traditional darkroom techniques, while also experimenting with innovative mediums such as chemigrams, light manipulation, gold leaf, sound, and crystal growth. Her creative process embraces imperfection, capturing the delicate beauty found within flaws and reflecting the resilience and depth of the human spirit.

A graduate of The School of Photographic Arts, Liliana is also a graduate of the Witch School Feminist and Leadership Program and is currently a Death Doula in training. She has received awards including the Solstice Award, the Integrity of Vision Award, and the Canada Council for the Arts Small Scale Grant. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, with a standout month-long solo exhibition at the Salem Art Gallery. Liliana’s art continues to provoke thought and inspire, offering a unique perspective on the intersection of the human soul and the divine, while engaging with the profound mysteries of life and death.
